Diane Paynter has been a member of the Haitian Roots Board of Directors since 2013. Diane's expertise provides Haitian Roots support in educational reform and teacher training.
She has a Master of Arts in teaching from Oakland City University and a Bachelor of Science in education from Brigham Young University. She has worked for numerous organizations such as Marzano Resources, Solutions Tree in Bloomington, American International Schools of Vienna and many others.
In the last 25 years, Diane has provided more than 800 workshops and presentations to more than 160,000 educators. She has presented in all 50 states in the U.S. and in 12 countries. Diane believes in using the talents she’s been gifted from God to serve others and help make their lives better.
Originally from Alberta, Canada, Diane now lives in Parker, Colorado, with her husband and three children. She loves to write and has authored books about education, personal ancestry and travel experiences. Her most difficult trips have been to Haiti, seeing the challenges the children face each day.
